Candle Care Tips
Candles
-
Trim the wick: Trim the wick to about 6 mm before each burn. This helps the candle burn evenly and prevents soot buildup.
-
Let it burn all the way through: When you first light a candle, let it burn for 3–4 hours so it reaches the edge of the container. This helps the candle burn evenly in the future.
-
Keep it away from drafts: Drafts from air vents, windows, or ceiling fans can cause uneven burning and smoking.
-
Keep it away from heat: Don't burn candles on or near anything that could catch fire.
-
Keep it away from children and pets: Make sure candles are out of reach of children and pets.
-
Don't leave it unattended: Never leave a burning candle unattended.
-
Use a snuffer or gently blow it out: Use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame to extinguish the candle.
-
Don't use water: Don't use water or any other liquid to extinguish your candle.
-
Place it on a heat-safe surface: Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
-
Keep the wax pool free of debris: Remove any debris from the wax pool.
Wax Melts
Simply add 2 blocks of wax to your melter and enjoy the long lingering smell throughout your home or office.
Reed Diffusers
Remove the cap inside and place reeds inside the hole. Allow 30 minutes for the reeds to absorb the fragrance before turning the reeds over.
Car Diffusers
Remove the cap inside and screw lid back on. Turn upside down for 2 minutes to allow the fragrance to soak into the top. Turn back the correct way and enjoy the fragrance.
